We’ve recently been alerted to an online scam involving individuals impersonating Net Branding.
These scammers are using our business name and publicly available details – such as our physical address – to make their fake claims appear credible.
They’re contacting people through social media and messaging platforms, making offers that sound tempting but are completely false.
What they’re claiming:
- That Net Branding will pay you to like or follow social accounts or groups
- That we offer payment in USDT or other digital currencies
- That we pay for participation in link schemes
- That we require your crypto wallet address to then make payments or receive payments. Yes, they may even asked you to pay over cyrpto to them.
None of this is true.
Let us be absolutely clear:
What Net Branding does NOT do:
- We do not ask for crypto wallet addresses
- We do not offer payment in any digital currency
- We do not pay people to follow, like, or promote accounts
- We do not pay anyone to be involved in link schemes
What you should do:
If someone contacts you claiming to be from Net Branding and makes any of these offers, it is a scam.
Do not engage, do not share any personal or financial information, and do not click on any links they send you.
Please report the incident to:
- Netsafe
- Or your local police
Why are they using our name?
Our company name and business details are publicly available on platforms like Google Business, making it easy for scammers to copy and misuse this information.
While we continue to report and monitor these situations, we rely on the community to stay informed and cautious.
Final word:
At Net Branding, our focus is on helping local and international businesses grow their online visibility – ethically and professionally.
We are not involved in anything related to cryptocurrency payments, social engagement schemes, or link manipulation.
Thanks for helping us spread the word and keeping our digital space safer for everyone.
