Domain name suspended and how to avoid termination email hoax.
The below email was received by one of our clients. WARNING. If you receive a message from an unexpected source, please be careful and do your due diligence.
Our client did the right thing. They called us first before acting on an email that seemed to be doggy but with sufficient relevant information for them to second-guess themselves.
Hoax email below. Many similar email versions are used and delivered to your inbox by hopeful scammers.

This notice is to inform you that your outstanding invoice number 197fe140238f43cfae7990f8904c0a22 is OVERDUE. DOMAINNAME.CO.NZ.COM expiring on 12 December 2022 is SUSPENDED. Please complete payment ASAP to avoid any TERMINATION of service to DOMAINNAME.CO.NZ
Do take note that if no payment is received in the next 3 business days, your data will be purged and deleted.
