Hello , Recently we attended a seminar in Christchurch were Cathy Mellett from Net Branding was a guest speaker . To be honest, we did not even know what net branding / social media was let alone how to use these things the kids used and take forgranted. Things such as Facebook – Twitter – Tumblr –Flicker –Linkedin .
After a very professional presentation were Cathy provided us with a crash course on the use of these forms of communication to connect with our customers, we soon could understand the power of net-branding and how we could stay connected to and share great / relevant information and content with our current and future customers. It is now called Social Media ,we quickly learned the power this can have to invite and engage with our customers within the likes of blogging forums, Facebook and Youtube .
We operate Tigers Den in Marlborough Sounds and have been delighted with the continued effort Cathy Mellett of Net Branding has given us in helping set up our social media marketing. We are not facebook savy so Cathy has had a lot of work to do with us to train us in its uses. Cathy has always been available and has not once deserted us whilst we got underway.
