Facebook Insights are getting more insightful, adding a new metric that displays negative feedback on posts.
Steve Alard of Wise Metric pointed out that page administrators who click “engaged users” on Facebook posts can now see how many users either hid their posts or gave them negative feedback in their news feeds.
This is not something that is common knowledge so please share this article with anyone that you know who manages a Facebook business page.
Where will you find this Facebook insight information – it is a little hidden so follow these steps.
- Confirm you are an administrator to the page and make sure you are viewing the Facebook admin panel (at the top of your business page).
- Focus your attention on the insights are (second row of admin features). It is in the middle section. Click “see all” to view additional data.
- Scroll down and below the graph you will see a table.
- The 4thcolumn is titled “engaged users”. Now focus on any number and click on it. A new window will open with additional information. This includes the number of people either hiding your posts, reported your post or providing negative feedback on your information. (see image)
Whilst you do not gain much more insight than this, it at least provides you with an alert flag should you continue to receive negative feedback.
